It was the hydro static peddle not returning to set position, just moved the peddle a little one way or the other and it started.You turn the key on and no lights come on and it doesn't even try to start. I could not get it up out of the position. However, after "working" with it, it finally moved back up, and the tractor started right up. If no fuel comes out there, then suspect the fuel line/filters plugged or failing electric fuel pump (or it's wiring). No smoke=no fuel obviously. Opening the throttle won't help because of the way the governor works. If it does not turn over, you need to hook up the negative cable to the battery and to the starter body, then test the positive terminal again with the positive cable.
