I’m looking for a high end resort but one that is lively. Has anyone got some advice on whether “Elegance” or “Colonial” are the better resort. I would be booking the “Club” category.

Because Colonial has more guests, it has one more restaurant than does Elegance (Dominican). The rooms are similar, but not identical. For example, in the jr. suites at Colonial, the jetted tub is located in the middle of the room, acting as a separation between the bedroom part and the sinks.

The Majestic Mirage is known as the quieter and calmer resort out of the 3 Majestics. It's adult oriented. 2 out of the 7 buildings are dedicated for families and the other 5 are adult only. The entire resort is club. Not many kids around the Mirage compared to the Elegance and especially the Colonial.
